Strategic Plan: 2024-28
NWEdA’s 2024-2028 strategic plan includes six strategic intentions to guide our organizational efforts:

Goal 1: Continue to invest in staff and organizational supports that reflect our values.
Goal 2: Continue to build a resilient, people-centered organizational culture.

Goal 1: Expand sharing of NWEdA’s external capacity-building offerings.
Goal 2: Increase data-informed advocacy efforts aimed at changing the persistent barriers students face.
Goal 3: Enhanced organizational visibility and outreach efforts.

Goal 1: Increase community engagement and individual giving through marketing and outreach efforts, stewardship, and relationship building.
Goal 2: Foster an active fundraising community that is rooted in philanthropic (a love of humanity) values.
Goal 3: Integrate a community-centric approach into organization-wide development practices.

Goal 1: Develop programming to support students preparing to transition into their chosen career path.
Goal 2: Strengthen data utilization for program improvement.

Goal 1: Further integrate antiracism in direct service work with students.
Goal 2: Continue operationalizing antiracism across internal organizational functions.
Goal 3: Influence systems change by sharing our antiracism journey in external spaces.

Goal 1: Enhance opportunities for students and alumni to connect with each other and our NWEdA network more broadly to increase sense of belonging.
Goal 2: Intentionally engage Alumni & Student Advisory Board (ASAB) in organizational decisions, student-facing policies, and program improvement, while providing opportunities for leadership, skill building development, and knowledge acquisition of non-profit management.
Goal 3: Develop and implement trainings, structures, and process that enhance and better integrate volunteer programming into our services.
