The current treatment model incentivizes providers to look at a person’s symptoms, label them with a disorder, and prescribe general treatments to fix that specific disorder. I disagree with this approach because it reduces a person down to a broad diagnosis given to millions of other people, and believe that a more holistic approach should be taken.”
